- Alison Allgor , Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Alison Allgor has served as our Senior Vice President of Human Resources since August 2015. Prior to this role, she served as Groupon’s Vice President of Human Resources for North America and Human Resources Director. Before joining Groupon, Alison was Vice President of Business Operations at Pelago and spent nine years at Amazon.com in a variety of positions including Director of Human Resources. Alison also spent five years at D. E. Shaw & Co, ultimately as Vice President of Human Resources, and served on the Board of Directors for Country Doctor Community Health Centers.
- Dane Drobny , Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Dane has been Groupon's General Counsel since July 2014. Prior to joining Groupon, Dane was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Sears Holdings Corporation. Previously, he was a partner at the international law firm of Winston & Strawn. Dane has a B.A. degree from Colgate University and earned a J.D. from Washington University School of Law.
- Vinayak Hegde , Senior Vice President, Global Marketing
Vinayak Hegde serves as the SVP of Global Marketing where he oversees channel management, customer acquisition, CRM and technology systems that power them. Previously Vinayak was the Vice President of Computational Marketing at Groupon, starting that role in February 2012. He ran the overall product and technology for marketing at Groupon and all the online marketing channels globally. Vinayak also founded the Seattle office for Groupon. Prior to his tenure at Groupon, Vinayak spent 12 years at Amazon.com where he was a General Manager at Amazon’s marketing group. While at Amazon, Vinayak managed Amazon’s Gold Box and Lightning Deals program, Amazon’s email marketing program and also the central technology for Amazon’s Product Advertising API. Prior to that he had several roles in Amazon including managing their first web service and also managing their payments and ordering systems. Prior to Amazon Vinayak held various technology roles at Oracle and Verifone. Vinayak earned his engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. He lives in Bellevue, Washington, with his wife and daughter.
- Mike Randolfi , Chief Financial Officer
Mike Randolfi serves as Chief Financial Officer for Groupon, a position he earned in April 2016. In his role, Mike oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, tax, procurement, internal audit and treasury. Mike most recently served as CFO of Orbitz Worldwide where he helped develop and drive significant operational improvements, cultivated strong investor and analyst relationships and ultimately helped lead that company’s 2015 merger with Expedia. Prior to Orbitz, Randolfi held a number of senior finance roles at Delta Air Lines, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President and Controller. Mike has also held positions with Continental Airlines and Raymond James and Associates. Mike is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.
- Jay Sullivan , Chief Product Officer
Sullivan joined Groupon from Mozilla where he served in a number of senior-level roles, including interim CEO. He has more than two decades of experience developing global software used by millions and leading large, distributed development teams.
- Rich Williams , CEO
Rich Williams serves as Chief Executive Officer for Groupon, a position he earned in November 2015. He served as Chief Operating Officer, a position he held since June 2015. He joined the company in June 2011 with nearly 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, Rich has overseen some of the largest online marketing programs in the world, including the analytics and technology that power them. Immediately prior to joining Groupon, he ran Worldwide Marketing and Advertising at Amazon. While at Amazon, Rich split his time between building scalable software to manage Amazon's global automated advertising programs and coming up with TV ads for the Amazon Kindle (among other things). Prior to joining Amazon, Rich spent nearly 7 years developing marketing programs and technologies in a variety of leadership roles at Experian, including running marketing for Experian's Interactive companies and launching Experian's Real Time Marketing platform in its Marketing Services division. Before his time at Experian, Rich mostly walked the Earth like Caine from Kung Fu, earning room and board in exchange for working odd jobs in marketing, advertising and creative. Rich spends much of his spare time with his wife and daughter, often getting his hands dirty in the small winery they own together.
