Industry experts to oversee talent development and innovation needed
for continued marketplace growth

Today Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN) (http://www.groupon.com)
announced the appointment of two new executives: Carol Campagnolo to
Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Jay Sullivan to Senior Vice
President of Consumer Product. Campagnolo will lead Groupon's global
human resources function and will be based in Chicago, reporting to
Groupon CEO Eric Lefkofsky. Sullivan will oversee all consumer
technology products, including Groupon's popular mobile app and website,
and will be based in Palo Alto, Calif., reporting to Sri Viswanath,
Chief Technology Officer.

Campagnolo comes to Groupon with more than more than 20 years of
experience of helping global organizations create talent-focused
practices and programs that benefit employees, customers and
stakeholders. Most recently, Carol was Executive Vice President and
Chief Human Resources Officer at SGK Worldwide, a leading brand strategy
company where she oversaw all human resources activities including
strategy and planning, global talent initiatives, leadership development
and employee engagement. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of
Global Human Resources at Aon Consulting Worldwide. Carol holds a Master
of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of
Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a Bachelor of Science in Public
Administration from Indiana University.
Sullivan joins Groupon from the Mozilla Corporation where he most
recently served as Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO. Prior to
leading Mozilla's global organization, Jay served as SVP of Product
where he led the product management and design teams and oversaw the
user experience for the widely used Firefox mobile and web browser.
Before joining Mozilla, Sullivan was the co-founder of PhoneSpots
(formerly PocketThis), which was acquired by Call Genie, Inc. in 2007.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Yale
University as well as a number of patents in the areas of mobile and
personalization with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
