Groupon -- Groupon invites Chicago-area families to band together
for an epic day of do-goodery and merrymaking, free to the public, at
Lincoln Park Zoo on Saturday, June 27 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Hosted by
Groupon's Employee Volunteer Program, the event will spotlight eight
Chicagoland non-profit organizations and provide a chance for
participants to give back to the local community through a series of fun
activities supporting the great work of these select organizations.

and the first 200 people to RSVP will get a free T-Shirt.
Throughout the zoo's Foreman Pavilion, stations will be set up for
attendees to work on projects such as assembling back-to-school kits for
Chicago-area students, making enrichment toys for sheltered animals and
putting together "Welcome Home" kits for women transitioning out of
homelessness; alongside a variety of outdoor lawn games, lunch and
lively entertainment to make for the perfect summertime Saturday for all
ages.

Additionally Jared Reichbaum, the man Walking
across Amarrowca as part of an effort to raise awareness about the
need for stem cell/bone marrow donation, will be passing through Chicago
this weekend and will stop by Groupon's volunteer event on Saturday,
having recently passed
through Fort Wayne.
